Westland – Sherry Wood American Single Malt (70cl, 46%)

Westland Sherry Wood is an American single malt, in a 700ml bottle at 46% ABV. It is matured in sherry hogsheads and butts, which are delivered whole to the distillery. The spirit is made from a five-malt mash, which lets the character of the local malted barley sit alongside the sherry influence. The sherry remains vivid, and the barley comes through with equal weight. The nose brings honey-dipped oatmeal raisin cookies, maple syrup and banana pancakes. The palate has kiwi, maple syrup, raisins, sweet cookies, pastries and stewed yellow fruits.
