Captain Shug and the Second Sight is a 13 year old single cask Teaninich from the WhiskyHeroes range, created by the independent bottler Brave New Spirits. It is bottled at 51.9% in a 70cl bottle, and 349 bottles were filled.
The whisky was aged in a first fill Amontillado sherry cask. The crisp, vibrant character of Teaninich is joined by the dry, complex notes of the Amontillado wood.
It was awarded a Gold Medal at the Meininger's ISW 2026 competition in Germany.
