This is a limited edition of White Horse blended Scotch whisky, released to commemorate the America's Cup of 1987. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 75cl bottle. White Horse was first produced in 1861 by James Logan Mackie and takes its name from an Edinburgh coaching inn, the White Horse Cellar Inn. Lagavulin, the Islay single malt, is the base malt of the blend, with Talisker, Caol Ila and Linkwood also used. The brand is now owned by Diageo.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
