A blended Scotch whisky from White Horse, in the dumpy bottle and dating from the 1980s. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The blend contains over 40% malt whisky. Lagavulin from Islay sits at its heart, with Talisker and Linkwood also shaping the flavour. White Horse owned Lagavulin before Diageo took it over. White Horse Distillers was established in Edinburgh in the late 19th century and sourced whisky from across Scotland for its blends.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
