White Peak Small Batch is a single malt from White Peak Distillery, bottled at 47.7% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in ex-bourbon and STR oak casks.
The nose combines subtle fruity smoke and sweet peat with pineapple, honey, toffee popcorn and candied orange, plus hints of spice, sweet grasses and orchard fruits. On the palate come cherries and almond, light golden sponge cake, cinnamon and baked apples, then rich milk chocolate and citrus. The finish has soft smouldering embers, red fruits, nutmeg, vanilla and tangy nectarines.
