Baby Jane is a straight bourbon from Widow Jane, the 2024 release, bottled at 45.5% ABV. It is made from Baby Jane, a proprietary heirloom corn, and aged in new charred American oak barrels. It was distilled in Red Hook, Brooklyn and in Kentucky, then assembled by hand in Brooklyn a few barrels at a time.
It is non-chill filtered and proofed with mineral water from the Rosendale mines of New York. The nose brings salty air, green grape, honeycomb and cream soda. The palate offers strawberries and cream taffy, salted caramel, fresh fig and allspice, and the finish runs to peach compote, star anise and milk chocolate.
