Wild Turkey – 101 Bourbon (1L, 50.5%)

Wild Turkey 101 is a Kentucky-style straight bourbon bottled at 101 proof (50.5%), here in a 1 litre bottle. It is a vatting of mainly 6, 7 and 8 year old bourbons. The high proof gives it a bolder flavour, yet the aroma is gentle and rich. On the palate there is vanilla and caramel, followed by honey, brown sugar and a hint of tobacco. It is suggested neat or over ice, and it also works in cocktails.
