Wild Turkey – 101 Proof Kentucky Bourbon (70cl, 50.5%)

Wild Turkey 101 Proof is a Kentucky bourbon bottled at 50.5% ABV. It is a blend of whiskeys aged six, seven and eight years, and was once sold as an eight year old. The whiskey matures in new white oak barrels with a No. 4 alligator char, the deepest and most expensive char, said to give extra depth of flavour and a deep auburn colour. It is made with Kentucky grain and water from the distillery grounds, filtered through limestone. It is described as a bold, rich bourbon with a high rye content, and is suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
