Wild Turkey 101 is a Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 101 proof, which is 50.5% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It has no added colouring.
The bourbon spends several years maturing in heavily charred American oak barrels.
The nose is vanilla, honey and toffee, with a little spice and a hint of cinnamon. On the palate it is full-bodied, with caramel, brown sugar and toasted oak, pepper and nutmeg, and a touch of fruit. The finish is long and warm, with spice, vanilla and oak.
