Wild Turkey 8 Year Old Jimmy Russell's 70th Anniversary is a Kentucky straight bourbon in a 75cl bottle, released to mark Master Distiller Jimmy Russell's 70 years with Wild Turkey. It is a limited edition.
It is bottled at 101 proof and is 8 years old, with a further blend of 8 to 9 year old whiskeys chosen from some of Jimmy's favourite rickhouses.
The nose brings oak, honey, cinnamon and tobacco. The palate is sweet cream, butterscotch and black tea, moving to bitter chocolate, dark cherry and burnt sugar.
