Wild Turkey – Austin Nichols Archives Gold Foil Edition 16 Year Old (75cl, 60%)

This is a 16-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon, the first release in Wild Turkey's Austin Nichols Archives Collection. Associate Master Blender Bruce Russell made it as a tribute to the Gold Foil Wild Turkey bottlings of the 1980s and early 1990s. It is bottled at 120 Proof (60% ABV), non-chill filtered, in a 75cl bottle. The bourbon was selected from the Camp Nelson warehouses and is older than the original 12-year-old Gold Foil. It is described as having deep, mature oak, dark fruit, cherry cola, baking spices, honey and leather, along with the distinctive Wild Turkey funk, and a very long finish.
