Wild Turkey Austin Nichols Archives Gold Foil Edition is a 16 year old Kentucky Straight Bourbon, bottled at 120 Proof (60% abv) in a 750ml bottle and non-chill filtered. It is the first release in the Austin Nichols Archives Collection.
Associate Master Blender Bruce Russell created it as a tribute to the 'Cheesy Gold Foil' Wild Turkey bottlings of the 1980s and early 1990s. The bourbon was selected from the Camp Nelson warehouses.
It is described as having deep, mature oak, dark fruit, cherry cola, baking spices, honey and leather, along with the Wild Turkey 'funk', and an exceptionally long finish.
