This is a 16-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon from Wild Turkey, bottled at 60% ABV (120 proof) and non-chill filtered. It is the first release in the Austin Nichols Archives Collection and pays tribute to the gold foil Wild Turkey bottlings of the 1980s and early 1990s.
It was crafted by Associate Master Blender Bruce Russell, using older bourbon selected from the Camp Nelson warehouses.
It is described as showing deep mature oak, rich dark fruit, cherry cola, baking spices, honey and leather, with the Wild Turkey 'funk' and a very long finish.
