This is Bond & Lillard, the first batch in The Whiskey Barons Collection from Wild Turkey, in a 375ml bottle. The series revives bourbon brand names from Kentucky's pre-Prohibition years, when Bond & Lillard was one of the best-known bourbons in America.
It is a limited edition Kentucky straight bourbon without an age statement, made at the Wild Turkey Distillery in Lawrenceburg and bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof) without chill filtration.
The nose offers vanilla, caramel, toasted oak and dried citrus with a warm spice. The palate is full and rounded, with caramel, vanilla, baking spice and dried fruit. The finish is medium to long, with warm oak spice, vanilla and a gentle sweetness.
