Wild Turkey Forgiven Batch 303 (75cl)

Wild Turkey Forgiven Batch 303 is a limited batch of Kentucky bourbon blended with straight rye whiskey, from the Wild Turkey Distillery in Lawrenceburg. The Forgiven line began with a blending error that combined straight bourbon and straight rye. Master Distiller Jimmy Russell chose to release the result rather than discard it, and the first Forgiven came out in 2013. Each batch has its own ratio of bourbon to rye and its own proof. The nose is caramel, vanilla, toasted oak and baking spice, with a lift of rye grain. The palate brings brown sugar, cinnamon, pepper and charred oak. The finish is long and warming, with sweetness and rye spice.
