Wild Turkey Kentucky Straight Bourbon is bottled at 40.5% abv (81 proof) in a 70cl bottle.
The name goes back to 1940, when a special bottle of barrel-aged bourbon was taken along on a wild turkey hunt. Master Distiller Eddie Russell keeps to that tradition by ageing this bourbon for longer than usual, from five up to eight years, in number four 'alligator char' American oak barrels.
