Wild Turkey Kentucky Straight Bourbon is bottled at 40.5% abv (81 proof) and sold in a 70cl bottle.
The name goes back to 1940, when a bottle of barrel-aged bourbon was taken along on a wild turkey hunt. Master Distiller Eddie Russell continues that tradition by ageing the bourbon for between five and eight years in number four 'alligator char' American oak barrels.
