Wild Turkey Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is bottled at 43.4% abv (86.8 proof) in a 70cl bottle.
The bourbon is aged for between five and eight years in number four 'alligator char' American oak barrels, a approach followed by Master Distiller Eddie Russell. The name goes back to 1940, when a bottle of barrel-aged bourbon was taken along on a wild turkey hunt.
