Wild Turkey – Long Branch Bourbon (70cl, 40%)

Long Branch is an eight-year-old Wild Turkey bourbon made in collaboration between actor Matthew McConaughey and Master Distiller Eddie Russell. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 40% abv. What sets it apart is the refining of the bourbon with Texas mesquite and oak charcoals, which adds depth and complexity of flavour. The nose is a balance of vanilla and spice. On the palate come caramel, pear and a hint of citrus, leading to a smoky, buttery finish with gentle pepper and toasted oak.
