Wild Turkey – Longbranch Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (1L, 43%)

Longbranch is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Wild Turkey, developed with Matthew McConaughey, the brand's creative director. The name points to the link between Kentucky and Texas. The whiskey is matured in American white oak, then filtered twice through charcoal, including Texas mesquite charcoal. It is bottled at 43% in a one-litre bottle, non-chill-filtered and without added colour. The nose offers vanilla, caramel and honey, with a touch of citrus and gentle spice. On the palate are toffee, sweet oak, vanilla and light citrus, with fine spice and a subtle smoky note from the mesquite. The finish is soft and long, with vanilla, spice and lightly toasted oak.
