Wild Turkey – Master's Keep 17 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Batch 1 (75cl)

This is a 17 year old Kentucky straight bourbon from Wild Turkey, released as Batch 1 of the Master's Keep series in a 75cl bottle. It was the oldest bourbon Wild Turkey had released at the time of its debut. The barrels were first aged in a lowland stone warehouse at Old Crow, then moved to a warehouse built of metal and wood. The move between the two buildings shapes the depth and complexity of the bourbon. On the nose there is caramel, vanilla, peaches, apricots and burnt sugar. The palate brings butterscotch, baking spices, blueberry pancakes and fresh maple, and the refined finish carries citrus and toasted oak.
