This is Master's Keep Decades from Wild Turkey, a Kentucky straight bourbon in a 75cl bottle, made to mark Master Distiller Eddie Russell's 35 years at the distillery.
It blends barrels from 10 to 20 years old, drawn from across the distillery's rickhouses. The mashbill is 75% corn, 13% rye and 12% barley.
The nose shows caramel, vanilla, toasted oak and a warm rye spice. The palate is full-bodied, with toffee, dark fruit, warming spice and a dark chocolate note, and the finish is long and smooth, with warm oak and lingering spice.
