This is barrel #727 from the Willett Family Estate single barrel programme, a six year old Kentucky straight bourbon from Willett Distillery in Bardstown. It is a private selection, bottled in a 750ml bottle at 52.4% ABV (104.8 proof).
The bourbon is barrel strength and non-chill filtered. The label carries the nickname 'Tree Fiddy' with custom artwork, chosen by the group that selected the barrel.
The nose is sweet grain, fresh caramel, vanilla, light citrus and young oak. The palate is soft and round, with corn sweetness, brown sugar, light baking spice and gentle tannin. The finish is clean and of medium length, with sweet oak fading into gentle spice.
