This is a seven-year-old single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon from Willett Distillery in Bardstown, drawn from barrel #4774 and given the name Stayin Alive. It is bottled at cask strength, 66.3% ABV (132.6 proof), without chill filtration, in a 75cl-style 750ml bottle with Willett's handwritten label.
The nose is dark caramel, toasted oak, vanilla and baking spice, with a clear alcohol presence. The palate is rich and concentrated, with brown sugar, charred oak and rye pepper, and dark fruit coming through. The finish is long and warming, with oak tannin, spice and lingering barrel sweetness.
