Caduro is an English single malt from White Peak Distillery in Derbyshire, released under the Wire Works name. It is lightly peated and bottled at 46.8% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky was matured in a combination of STR (shaved, toasted and re-charred) oak casks and first-fill Bourbon barrels, and it is non-chill filtered and naturally coloured. The name comes from a cable brand once made at the distillery's historic wire works site. It offers green apple, vanilla fudge, honeyed malt and candied citrus peel, with a trace of soft peat smoke underneath.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
