Wire Works Necessary Evil Finish Batch 05/2022 is a lightly peated English single malt from White Peak Distillery in Derbyshire. It began its maturation in first-fill Bourbon barrels before a finish in casks that had held Thornbridge Brewery's Necessary Evil Imperial Stout. Bottled at 51.3% ABV, it has natural colour and is non-chill-filtered. Dark chocolate, roasted coffee and toasted malt sit alongside sweet vanilla and dried fruit, with gentle peat smoke lingering behind them.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
