Wire Works Port Cask is part of the core range, a vatting of fresh Tawny Port barriques and first-fill ex-bourbon barrels. It is bottled at 50.2% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill filtered and with no added colouring.
The nose offers cinder toffee, Bakewell pudding, milk chocolate, burnt sugar, marzipan and strawberry jam. On the palate come marzipan, strawberries and cream, vanilla fudge, tinned peaches and orange zest. The finish brings cherry pie filling, coffee grounds, bonfire toffee and eucalyptus.
