This is a lightly peated English single malt from White Peak Distillery in Derbyshire, released as Small Batch 06/2022 under the Wire Works name. It is bottled at 47.7% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky was matured in a combination of STR (shaved, toasted and re-charred) oak casks and first-fill Bourbon barrels. It is natural in colour and not chill-filtered. It shows orchard fruit, vanilla, rich caramel and subtle wood spice, with a gentle, warming backdrop of delicate peat smoke.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
