This is Wolfburn 10 Years, a single malt Scotch whisky in the distillery's core range. It is bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The whisky matured in second-fill Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose combines gentle sherry sweetness with figs and raisins, plus oak and vanilla. The palate is deep, with chocolate, dark fruit, caramel and vanilla, and subtle touches of nutmeg and oak smoke. The finish has silky tannins, with sweet dried fruit and caramel.
