Wolfburn – 12 Years (70cl, 46%)

Wolfburn 12 Years is a single malt Scotch from the Wolfburn distillery on Scotland's north coast, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is the flagship of the Wolfburn range. The spirit was matured for twelve years in equal parts second-fill Oloroso sherry casks and ex-bourbon casks. Wolfburn was first founded in 1821 and grew to be the largest distillery in Caithness. Tasting notes describe honey and burnt sugar blended with soft spices, with sherry sweetness running throughout.
