A cask strength single malt from Wolfburn in the Northern Highlands, released as the Father's Day bottling.
It was distilled in 2015 and bottled in 2022 at 7 years old, after maturing in sherry butts and bourbon quarter casks. The strength is 58.2% ABV and 1,840 bottles were filled. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose pairs fresh bourbon notes with sweet sherry, toffee and caramel. On the palate come chocolate truffles, sticky toffee pudding and trifle sponge, with gentle peat smoke over the top. The finish is caramel, toffee and demerara sugar, with a trace of peat lingering.
