Wolfburn Aurora is a Scotch single malt, bottled at 46%. It is the second expression made by the Wolfburn distillery, which aims to produce niche whiskies with a personality of their own.
It is a blend of whisky matured in three kinds of cask: 20% ex-sherry, 40% first-fill ex-bourbon and 40% second-fill ex-bourbon. The result is rich and complex, balancing dried fruit dusted with spice against savoury notes of vanilla and cocoa.
