Wolfburn Aurora is a Highland single malt in a 70cl bottle. The spirit is filled into a combination of bourbon and oloroso sherry casks, after a long fermentation and a slow, gentle distillation. The casks are brought together at the end of maturation.
The nose opens with sherry sweetness, then freshly cut grass and autumn fruits, with a little coffee and dark chocolate. On the palate floral tones lead, with spice, vanilla, fruit and nuts, and the soft, warm finish keeps its sherry character to the end.
