This is a Wolfburn single malt released for Chinese New Year 2022, bottled at 46% ABV. It was matured in ex-bourbon casks and is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose offers a fresh sea breeze with delicate fruit, vanilla and gently smouldering oak shavings. On the palate, floral notes give way to toasted cereals, exotic dried fruit, sweet malt and spicy honey, with a touch of smoke. The finish is medium in length, pleasantly spicy, with subtle wood notes.
