Wolfburn – Inaugural Release

Wolfburn Inaugural Release is the first single malt from the Wolfburn distillery in Thurso, the most northerly distillery on the Scottish mainland. It was bottled in 2016, and 875 bottles were produced. The current distillery stands about 350 metres from the ruins of the original, which William Smith built in 1821 and which closed after around 30 years. Distilling began at the new site in January 2013.
