Morven is a lightly peated single malt Scotch from Wolfburn, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery stands on the rugged north coast of Scotland and was first founded in 1821, going on to become the largest in Caithness.
The nose is fresh, with apples, white grapes, pine nuts and salty sea air, lifted by touches of earthy peat smoke. The palate is smokier than the nose, with cereal, baked apples, toasted oak, vanilla and light spice. The finish is gently sweet and creamy, with peat smoke lingering.
