This Wolfburn is a Special Release of quarter cask whisky, prepared for the Highland Festival planned for 8 to 15 May 2020. The festival was cancelled because of COVID, and the whisky was released regardless. It is a single malt at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured exclusively in bourbon casks in the Highlands, and 660 bottles were filled. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The bourbon casks lend it a creamy character.
