Woodinville Bourbon Finished in Port Casks is a Washington straight bourbon in a 75cl bottle, bottled at 45% ABV (90 proof). The bourbon is fully matured first, then moved into Ruby Port barrels for a further six months.
The mash bill is 72% corn, 22% rye and 6% malted barley, with the grain grown for Woodinville on the Omlin Family Farm in Quincy, Washington.
The nose offers creme brulee, spice and candied cherry. On the palate come rich caramel and vanilla bean with berries, orange zest, dried plum and chocolate from the port finish. The finish is long and sweet.
