Woodinville – Straight Bourbon Whiskey 6 Year Old (75cl)

Woodinville Straight Bourbon is a six-year-old American bourbon, sold in a 75cl bottle. It is made from corn, rye and malted barley, all grown for the distillery on the Omlin Family farm in Quincy, Washington. The grains are mashed and distilled at the Woodinville distillery, then trucked back over the Cascade Mountains to the distillery's private barrel houses for ageing. Central Washington's extreme temperature cycles help draw flavour from the oak. The barrel wood is seasoned outdoors for 18 months before the barrels are made, which softens its harsher tannins. The barrels are then deeply toasted and heavily charred.
