Woodinville – Straight Rye Whiskey (75cl, 45%)

Woodinville Straight Rye Whiskey is a 100% rye whiskey from Washington, bottled at 45% in a 75cl bottle. The rye is grown exclusively for Woodinville on the Omlin family farm in Quincy. The grain is mashed and distilled in Woodinville, then the barrels travel across the Cascade Mountains to age in Central Washington barrel houses, where wide temperature swings draw flavour from the oak. The barrels are new oak, seasoned in the open air for 18 months, then deeply toasted and heavily charred. The nose is cinnamon, clove and dried fruit leather. The palate brings caramel, wood spice and honey, and the finish is long.
