Writers' Tears Copper Pot Irish Whiskey (70cl, 40%)

Writers' Tears Copper Pot is an Irish whiskey in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. It combines single malt, which makes up 40% of the blend, with single pot still whiskey, which makes up 60%. It is triple distilled from unpeated barley and matured in American oak casks that previously held bourbon. It won a gold medal at the International Spirits Challenge and scored 93 in the Whisky Bible, where it was described as a very unusual Irish whiskey that recalls a time 100 years ago, when spicy pure pot still whiskeys were married with more floral single malts.
