Yamazaki – 12 Year Old 100th Anniversary Edition (70cl, 43%)

This is Yamazaki 12 Year Old in its 100th Anniversary Edition, a Japanese whisky bottled at 43% in a 700ml bottle. It marks a century of Yamazaki. The whisky has a pure gold colour. Mizunara, Japanese oak, is among the notes in the aroma. On the nose there are peach, pineapple, grapefruit, clove, candied orange and vanilla alongside the Mizunara. The palate brings coconut, cranberry and butter, and the long finish carries sweet ginger and cinnamon.
