Yamazaki 12 Year Old is a Japanese single malt from Suntory's Yamazaki distillery in Osaka, Japan's oldest malt distillery, established in 1923. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is matured in a combination of American ex-bourbon casks, Spanish Oloroso sherry casks and Japanese Mizunara oak.
It is described as smooth and well balanced, with orchard and tropical fruit, honeyed sweetness, and the sandalwood and spice character of Mizunara oak.
