A 12 year old single malt from Yamazaki in Japan, in a 70cl bottle. It won Double Gold at the 2009 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
Golden amber in colour, it is described as delicate and elegant, with layered aromas of buttercream, dried fruit, plantain and pound cake. The body is supple, fruity yet dry, medium to full, with a tingling peppery spice. The finish is led by grain, fig and mineral notes.
