Yamazaki – 18 Year Old (70cl, 43%)

Yamazaki 18 Year Old is a single malt Japanese whisky from the Yamazaki Distillery, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery was established in 1923 by Shinjiro Torii, founder of Suntory, at the foot of Mt. Tennozan, and is regarded as the birthplace of Japanese whisky. The whisky is a deep amber colour. Mizunara oak features among its aromas. The nose combines raisin, apricot and Mizunara oak. The palate offers blackberry, strawberry jam and dark chocolate, and the finish is long, smooth and subtly spicy.
