This is a 15 year old Japanese single malt released in 2015 under the Yamazakura name, from the Sasanokawa Shuzo company in Fukushima Prefecture. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle, and 2,400 bottles were released. The whisky was aged in oak barrels, then in tanks, then in oak barrels again, and is reportedly finished in wine barrels. Some of the malt in the bottle is up to 20 years old.
