A Sangiovese di Romagna DOC Superiore from Zavalloni, made from Sangiovese. It has a bright ruby colour with garnet reflections with age.
The nose is complex and penetrating, with ripe red fruits such as cherry and plum, spice and a light touch of vanilla from ageing in barrique. On the palate it is structured and well balanced, with lively acidity and soft, velvety tannins. The finish is long and persistent, with spice and red fruit. Serve at 18-20°C.
