100 Pipers 12 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky from Seagram's, in a 750ml bottle at 40% ABV. The 100 Pipers brand was created in 1965 by Chivas Brothers master blender Alan Ballie. Its name comes from the hundred pipers who, according to a famous ballad, led Bonnie Prince Charlie into battle in 1745.
It is described as smooth and subtly smoky, and is served either neat or over ice.
