A peated single cask Lowland single malt from the 1770 Glasgow Distillery, from cask #18/960. It was distilled in 2018 and bottled in 2022, at a cask strength of 60.5% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in Moscatel casks, which add a wine-cask influence to its smoky character. Smoke and spice define the style. Given the high strength, it rewards some time in the glass, and a few drops of water can open it up.
