1770 Glasgow Single Malt Peated Release No.1 is a smoky Scotch single malt at 46% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. The barley is smoked to 50ppm with heather-rich peat from the Scottish Highlands.
It is made with water from Loch Katrine and distilled in copper pot stills named Tara and Mhairi. The whisky was matured in first fill ex-sherry butts and finished in virgin oak.
Tasting notes run to smoke, vanilla, toffee apple, clementine, dried apricots, cocoa nibs and macadamia, with hints of pepper spice and dried fruit.
